CIGMA Explores Hydrogen Mobility and Infrastructure Dialogue in Indonesia, Plans Technical Site Visit During IG Indonesia 2026Issuing time:2026-10-28 17:12 As Southeast Asia advances its energy transition initiatives, Indonesia is actively exploring green hydrogen development and clean mobility demonstration projects. Facilitated by the IG Indonesia platform, CIGMA recently engaged in discussions with representatives from Indonesia’s state-owned electricity company, PT PLN (Persero), to explore potential technological exchange and the feasibility of local vehicle demonstration trials. Indonesia is taking preliminary steps toward deploying green hydrogen in transit and heavy-duty logistics corridors. State-owned energy enterprises, including PLN and Pertamina, are advancing initiatives such as the Jakarta–Karawang–Patimban hydrogen pilot corridor. As part of this infrastructure, the Senayan Hydrogen Refueling Station serves as a key demonstration site in Jakarta, providing refueling validation for fuel cell buses and heavy-duty vehicles, while testing operational standards under local conditions. As demonstration programs progress, local stakeholders are seeking experienced supply chain partners to support equipment compatibility, refueling technology, and performance validation in tropical climates. To provide industry participants with direct insight into local infrastructure and operational environments, CIGMA will organize a technical site visit to the Senayan Hydrogen Refueling Station as part of the business program for IG Indonesia 2026, scheduled for November 11–12, 2026, in Jakarta. The site visit is designed to bridge technical dialogue with practical operating conditions. Participating companies across electrolysis, hydrogen refueling, cryogenic transport, and fuel cell vehicle manufacturing will have the opportunity to observe local refueling operations, review tropical operating considerations, and engage directly with Indonesian energy operators and site engineers. Through the IG Indonesia 2026, CIGMA remains committed to facilitating pragmatic, cross-border technical exchanges and business connections across the industrial gas, cryogenic storage, and clean energy value chains. |
