CIGMA and KADIN Convene Working Meeting to Discuss Potential Cooperation in Oil, Gas, and Clean Energy Sectors

CIGMA recently held a working meeting with representatives from the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) to exchange insights and explore potential areas of collaboration across oil and gas storage, as well as clean energy applications.

During the meeting, Mr. Rahmad Widjaja Sakti, Deputy Secretary-General of the KADIN China Committee, outlined general industry developments and commercial requirements concerning two specific infrastructure initiatives:

• Crude Oil Storage Facilities: Indonesia is seeking qualified international investors and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contractors to participate in financing and offshore infrastructure construction.

• CNG Mother Station Project: The project involves specialized engineering solutions for CNG compression, refueling, and station systems, alongside potential project financing structures involving Chinese and local financial institutions.

Both sides engaged in constructive discussions regarding preliminary follow-up steps. The KADIN team indicated plans to provide further technical and project background materials for potential partners to evaluate, while CIGMA shared informational materials on cross-border financing frameworks and introduced capabilities from relevant Chinese engineering, EPC, and equipment manufacturing sectors.

The parties also discussed the upcoming IG Indonesia 2026 exhibition and joint conference, scheduled for November 11–12 in Jakarta, viewing the event as an effective platform for further in-person dialogue and technical exchange among industry stakeholders.

As an industry platform, CIGMA remains committed to facilitating open communication and professional connections between Chinese and Indonesian enterprises across the industrial gas, cryogenic storage, and clean energy value chains.
